New naming: “ERP plan” replaces “Master plan”
Based on feedback from our customers, and to make the wording of our platform more intuitive, we have now changed the wording from “Master Plan” to “ERP plan” all throughout the Pelico platform.
--------------------------------
New Material Coverage icons and color-coding
As part of our continuous efforts to make our platform even more user-friendly and help users more easily identify shortages, we’ve redesigned the Material Coverage icons, available throughout the entire Pelico platform. In addition, the color-coding for Coverage Status = “Blocked” has changed to an easily identifiable dark red, even for our color-blind users.
These changes are also present for WO graphs and the “Missing Parts” section of Orders 360 Views.
--------------------------------
Part 360 View - improved graph and tooltip
We've made some improvements to the graph and tooltip of a Part 360 View:
Graph: to more easily identify excluded events, these will now have a dark red outline.
Tooltip: we've completely revamped the tooltip to make it more intuitive, as well as provide users with more relevant information.
--------------------------------
Work Order Book & Customer Order Book - new sortable and filterable column: Covered Quantity
To help users quickly identify partially covered orders, we've added a new sortable and filterable “Covered Quantity” column to the Work Order and Customer Order Books.
This will help Production Planners prioritize partially covered work orders so they can meet their daily assembly line targets, and enable Customer Support Managers to identify and execute partial shipments, optimizing revenue and customer satisfaction.
--------------------------------
Filters - no longer required to press the “Apply” button
We understand that filtering plays a crucial role in optimizing user routines. To enhance the overall experience, we've made it easier than ever to apply filters. Moving forward, users no longer need to click the "Apply" button—simply pressing the Enter key or clicking outside the filter will instantly set it.
--------------------------------
Shareable link to a Pelico page with applied filters and settings
As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance and simplify the filtering and routines features, we're introducing a change that may affect your current workflow.
To share a link to the current view with applied filters and settings, simply click the paperclip button next to the routines dropdown menu. Please note that copying the URL from the browser will no longer include all view parameters when sharing with others.
--------------------------------
Adding new editable properties of Plant Parts
Users are now able to edit properties of Plant Parts in most books (Service Order, Customer Order, and Purchase Order books), as well as directly in the events table of a Part 360 View, or Line of Balance and Planning views. This helps them capture new object properties and allows them to edit these values by themselves.
*Note: this feature requires data integration. Please contact your Customer Operations Manager if you are interested.
🔥🔥 FEATURE SPOTLIGHT 🔥🔥
Ability to escalate Purchase Orders
Purchase Orders can now be escalated from anywhere on Pelico - from the Purchase Order Book, a Purchase Order 360 View, or anywhere else where a PO appears! This improvement helps Supply Managers streamline the process of tracking and managing critical supply events by quickly highlighting problematic deliveries, providing better visibility on escalated events, and creating a centralized workflow to manage supply-related escalations.
Users need to simply click on a PO's escalation badge, or do it directly from the Escalation Room. This will immediately create a ticket with a Purchase Order as an escalated object. Once a ticket is created, the escalation badges and tooltips get updated to show last comments for all escalated POs.
Planning - Inventory Opportunity Recommendations
Users can now hover over the opportunity badge and instantly visualize inventory opportunities that will help them reduce stock levels with push-out and/or cancel recommendations.
*Note: this feature requires data integration. Please contact your Customer Operations Manager if you are interested.
Service Order Book, View Mode: Graph - Service Orders by Planned Gate Date and Coverage Status, and with Suggested Actions
To help MRO managers assess the state of their planning operations over a period of time, as well as allow them to quickly identify rescheduling opportunities so they can meet each gate's operational and financial targets, we've updated the Graph view mode.
The updated graph displays the distribution of service orders by planned Gate Date and coverage status, and includes suggested actions when available.
--------------------------------
Service Order Book - filtered scope requirement of 100k rows or less
To improve performance, users are now required to apply or refine the scope of any filter, when the result set is too large. Data will only be displayed once the filtered scope is less than 100k rows.
Customer Order Book - Ability to save columns and other view settings in Routines
We strive to help users streamline their workflows and enhance productivity, which includes helping them tailor their views to meet their specific needs. This is why users can now save customized view settings within routines, including column visibility, position, sorting rules, and page size - complementing the filters that were already saved in routines.
Additionally, users can easily share these settings by clicking the paperclip button which generates a link.
*Notes:
Copying the URL directly from the browser will soon no longer be supported; the paperclip button must be used to ensure proper functionality.
We're working on extending these features to remaining views.
--------------------------------
Customer Order Book - 3 new columns: Stock Opportunities, Next Deliveries, and Current Stock
We’ve added 3 new filterable columns to the Customer Order Book: Stock Opportunities, Next Deliveries, and Current Stock. These will allow users to quickly spot stock opportunities, like Stock Transfer Opportunities (STOs) and upcoming deliveries, and help unblock Customer Order Lines.
Please don't hesitate to share your comments or suggestions.
