How to track the status and progress of engines within the Pelico system?
Managing engine maintenance effectively requires real-time tracking of status and progress to ensure smooth operations and timely service completion. Without proper visibility, delays can occur, leading to operational inefficiencies and potential disruptions in service delivery. Using Pelico, you can monitor engines efficiently and maintain a clear overview of their lifecycle within the system.
Here's how you do it as an Engine Owner:
Steps to follow
Access the Timeline Shop Visit View
From the Pelico welcome page, access the MRO app and click on the saved routine with the necessary filters applied.
Switch to the timeline shop visit view to track progress by gate.Understand Key Status Terms
Planned: Time allocated based on initial planning.
Released: Task completed and confirmed in SAP.
Unreleased: Task pending confirmation in SAP.Compare Current Status to Initial Planning
Review each step's completion percentage and compare with initial planning.
Identify where delays have occurred, such as kitting taking longer than planned.Analyze the Critical Path
Use the activity view to pinpoint the critical path within modules and sub-modules.
Escalate Issues to the Right Team
Create a ticket and tag the responsible team (e.g., "@team action needed to secure the TAT").
Ensure the issue is flagged for immediate attention to accelerate resolution.
How to see the quality notes?
Maintaining high-quality standards in MRO operations requires seamless access to quality notes and issue tracking. Without a structured approach, unresolved quality concerns can lead to delays and operational risks. Pelico provides an efficient way to track and manage quality notes, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
Here's how you do it:
Steps to Follow
Open the Service Order Book
Navigate to the MRO app and access the Service Order Book.Check the "Quality Notes" Column
Locate the "Quality Notes" column in the status section.
If it's not visible, click "Columns" on the right and select "Quality Notes" (blue = displayed).Hover Over the Quality Notes Symbol
Move your mouse over the quality notes symbol to see details such as Note ID, Status, and Affected Quantity.Open the 360 View of the Service Order

Create a ticket, assign a team, and collaborate to resolve the issue efficiently.
How to enhance material coverage at the kitting gate?
Maintaining high-quality standards in MRO operations requires seamless material availability at critical stages like the kitting gate. Without early detection and proactive issue resolution, part shortages can lead to delays and impact revenue. Pelico enables kitting managers to efficiently track shortages, identify root causes, and coordinate actions to prevent disruptions.
Here's how you do it as a Kitting Manager:
Steps to follow
Use pre-saved routines to detect blocked SOs within your perimeter.
If necessary, add a filter on blocked material coverage (saved routine should already display it).
In the Tree View, drill down into BoM levels – Review part shortages by analyzing the Bill of Materials.
Determine which upstream events are causing the SO blockage and review possible remediation actions.
Escalate issues and work with the Supply team to implement coordinated actions and prevent delays in shop visits.
How to manage the machine capacity?
Efficiently managing machine workload in Pelico helps prevent production delays and ensures a smooth workflow. Follow these steps to monitor machine capacity, identify overloads, and adjust scheduling for better efficiency.
Steps to follow
Access the Machine Capacity
Open the MRO app from the homepage.
Click on the third tab labeled Capacity to view machine workload.Identify Overloaded Machines
The capacity screen shows machine workload status:
Brown = Overloaded
Green = Available capacity
Example: Machine 4 in Week 2 is 52 hours over capacity, meaning production may be delayed.Adjust the Schedule to Balance Workload
Click on the overloaded machine's field to open the order table.
Add columns if needed by clicking on the right and selecting Gate columns.
Scroll to locate the relevant gate (e.g., Shipping Gate).
Click the calendar icon to adjust the date of a service order.
Move the order X weeks later to redistribute workload.Let Pelico Recalculate the Schedule
When a date is changed, Pelico automatically updates execution steps.
This dynamic rescheduling helps prevent bottlenecks and balances machine usage.
