how the Pelico homepage is laid out, what each part of it does, and how to narrow Pelico down to the plants you are responsible for.
1. The three parts of the homepage
When you log in, Pelico takes you to the homepage. It has three parts.

What the sidebar contains
The sidebar is built from the applications you have access to, so you will not necessarily see every entry below. The order, however, is always the same.

At the very bottom sits your own user card.
💡 The administration entries appear only if you have the matching permissions, and Teams only if you can manage teams. If a colleague has an entry you do not, permissions are almost always the reason.
2. The top menu
The top menu carries the search bar, which finds any type of object in Pelico: a work order, a part number, a service order, an equipment, and so on.
From here you can also:
Open your personal settings, where you can adjust notifications, set algorithm preferences, and change your password.
Contact the Pelico support team.
Sign out.
💡 One algorithm preference is worth knowing about early: how far ahead Pelico looks. It can be set from 14 days up to 3 years. A short horizon hides events that are further out, which is a common reason a part or an order seems to be missing.
3. The main field

Feature shortcuts | Tiles in the centre of the homepage taking you straight into an application: Production Control, Planning, Escalation Room, Supply, Customer Support and others. |
Inbox | Your notifications, comments where you were mentioned, and ticket activity. Unread and archived items are separated. |
Notifications panel | On the right. New activity arrives here, and Mark all as read clears it. |
💡 Which shortcut tiles you see depends on the applications your organization uses and on your own permissions. If a colleague has a tile you do not, that is usually why.
4. Setting your plant scope
Pelico starts by showing you everything. Almost nobody needs everything, so the first thing to do is narrow it to the plants you are responsible for.
Select Filters, next to the application name at the top of the page.
Choose the plants you are responsible for. You can also narrow to specific production cells.
Select Apply.
To keep that selection rather than rebuilding it each time, use Save Filters as User Scope from the Save menu.
💡 Do this before anything else. Every figure, list and chart in Pelico reflects your current scope, so a number that looks wrong is often a scope that is too wide or too narrow rather than a data problem.
⚠️ Scope and Routines are not the same thing. Your scope is which plants and production cells you work on. A Routine saves how you are looking at that data — filters, columns, sorting. A Routine does not capture your scope; it applies on top of whatever scope is active.
5. Getting help
If you hit a technical problem or have a question about your account, you can reach Pelico through the Customer Portal, or by email.
⚠️ Support address to confirm. The source article gives two different addresses in two different places: [email protected] and [email protected]. Only one can be right. See the open question below.
