Personalize your Pelico workspace
Who is this for ?
Anyone who has started using Pelico and wants to adapt the platform to their working context.
What you will learn :
How to configure your working scope, notifications, time horizon, language, date format and availability status.
Some settings may depend on your organization’s Pelico configuration, your permissions and the Pelico version currently deployed.
1. Accessing your Settings
Open Settings from your user menu or select the Settings gear in the navigation, depending on your organization’s Pelico version.
The settings available to you can include :
Notifications
Algorithms
Password
Language & Date
Some options may not appear depending on your authentication method or your organization’s configuration.
For example, the Algorithms section can be hidden when your organization manages the time horizon centrally.
2. Set your plant scope
Your plant scope determines which operational data you want to focus on inside an application.
Plant scope is currently configured separately for each application. You can therefore work with one scope in Production Control and another in Supply or MRO.
To define your scope :
Open the application you want to configure.
Open the scope or plant filter at the top of the page.
Select one or several plants.
Select Apply.
Depending on the application, other scope dimensions may also be available, such as Production Cells or MRP controllers.
💡 Your scope is a personal filter. It does not change which data you are authorized to access.
If your organization restricts access to specific plants, only the plants available to your account can be used.
What about Save my scope ?
Pelico display a separate Save my scope action.
When this action is available, use it to save your selection as your default scope for future sessions. On newer environments, your scope may already be persisted when you apply the selection, so Save my scope should not be considered a mandatory step everywhere.
Cannot find a plant you expected ?
First, check that you are in the correct application and reopen the scope selector.
If the plant is still unavailable, ask your Pelico administrator or internal key user to verify your team, site and data access configuration.
3. Manage your notifications
Open Settings, then Notifications.
Pelico currently provides three main collaboration notification preferences :
Ticket updates and new comments for assignees and subscribers
New tickets assigned to you
Mentions in comments
Choose the notifications that match your responsibilities.
💡 We recommend keeping mentions enabled so you do not miss a direct request from another user.
Ticket updates are useful if you own or follow escalation tickets, while assignment notifications are particularly useful if other users regularly assign tickets to you.
Email and Pelico notifications
Notification preferences should not currently be understood as email only.
Depending on your Pelico version, disabling one of these preferences can also prevent the corresponding notification from appearing in your Inbox or notification panel.
For this reason, review your notification preferences based on your collaboration needs rather than simply disabling emails you consider unnecessary.
4. Choose your time horizon
The time horizon defines how far Pelico looks when loading relevant events and calculating stock projection and material coverage.
When users are allowed to configure it, you can find this setting under Settings, then Algorithms.
The standard available values are :
14 days
6 months
1 year
2 years
3 years
Three years is the standard maximum.
Which horizon should you choose ?
Use the shortest horizon that covers your operational responsibilities.
A longer horizon provides more visibility into future events, but it can also increase loading and calculation time.
For most new users, keeping the default horizon is the best starting point.
💡 The time horizon can also affect Search objects. A Part or order may not appear in search if it has no relevant event within the selected period.
Cannot see the Algorithms setting ?
Your organization may use one common time horizon for all users.
In this case, the horizon is managed by an administrator and the Algorithms section may not be available in your Settings.
5. Set your language and date format
Open Settings, then Language & Date.
Language
Pelico currently supports the following main interface languages :
English
Español
Français
Italiano
Deutsch
Polski
Your language preference is personal and is saved for future sessions.
Changing the language updates Pelico’s standard interface labels.
However, some content may remain unchanged, including customer specific labels, custom fields, ERP values, Part descriptions, comments and other user generated content.
Date Format
You can also select your preferred date format.
The available formats are :
DD/MM/YYYY
DD.MM.YYYY
MM/DD/YYYY
Your date format preference is saved for future sessions.
Language and date format are configured separately, although some long date displays can still follow the locale associated with your selected date format.
💡 Changing the date format changes how dates are displayed. It does not change the underlying date stored in Pelico.
6. Manage your password
How you manage your password depends on how you sign in to Pelico.
If you use Single Sign On
Your password is managed by your organization.
Use your company identity service or contact your IT team if you need to change or recover your password.
If you use a Pelico email and password
A Password section is available in Settings, with a Request password change action. Selecting it sends you an email with the instructions to set a new password. Pelico never asks you to type your new password directly in this screen.
You can also use Forgot password ? from the Pelico login page if you cannot access your account.
Both routes work the same way : Pelico emails you a secure link, and you choose your new password from that link.
Recommended setup for your first sessions
You do not need to change every setting when you first start using Pelico.
We recommend focusing on these actions :
Confirm the plants relevant to your work in each application you use.
Select your preferred language and date format if needed.
Review your notification preferences.
Keep the default time horizon unless your work requires a different period.
Review your password settings if you sign in with a Pelico email and password.
Once these settings are configured, you can start adapting individual application views using filters, columns and routines.
